Qatar Chamber discussed ways to strengthen trade and economic relations between Qatar and Honduras and investment opportunities available in both countries, and explored areas of cooperation between their respective private sectors.
الدوحة في 01 نوفمبر /قنا/ بحثت غرفة قطر العلاقات الاقتصادية مع غرفة كورتيس في هندوراس والإمكانات المتاحة لدى الجانبين، وأبرز مجالات التعاون بين القطاعين الخاص القطري والهندوراسي، بما يسهم في تعزيز التبادل التجاري واستكشاف فرص الاستثمار المشترك.
جاء ذلك خلال اجتماع السيد محمد بن أحمد بن طوار الكواري، النائب الأول لرئيس مجلس إدارة غرفة قطر، اليوم مع السيد كريم قبين، رئيس غرفة كورتيس في هندوراس.
وفي هذا السياق، أكد الكواري اهتمام غرفة قطر بتعزيز التعاون بين مجتمعي الأعمال في قطر وهندوراس، مشيرا إلى وجود رغبة من جانب المستثمرين القطريين في التعرف على الفرص الاستثمارية في هندوراس، في ظل ما تمتلكه من إمكانات وموارد طبيعية وفرص واعدة في عدد من القطاعات الاقتصادية.
وشدد على أهمية توقيع مذكرة تفاهم بين غرفتي البلدين، بما يسهم في تعزيز علاقات التعاون، وزيادة الزيارات المتبادلة للوفود التجارية، وإتاحة الفرصة أمام أصحاب الأعمال في البلدين للتعرف على الفرص الاستثمارية المتاحة، وبحث إقامة شراكات تجارية واستثمارية مشتركة.
من جانبه، أكد السيد كريم قبين رغبة بلاده بتطوير علاقات التعاون التجاري والاستثماري مع قطر، مشيرا إلى أن هندوراس تمتلك إمكانات اقتصادية كبيرة، ومناطق سياحية متميزة، وموارد طبيعية متنوعة، إلى جانب فرص استثمارية واعدة في عدد من القطاعات، من أبرزها التعدين والزراعة والسياحة.
ودعا غرفة قطر وأصحاب الأعمال القطريين إلى زيارة هندوراس للاطلاع على الفرص المتاحة عن قرب، وبحث مجالات التعاون والشراكة مع نظرائهم الهندوراسيين، مؤكدا أهمية توقيع مذكرة تفاهم مع غرفة قطر لتعزيز التعاون المؤسسي وتطوير العلاقات بين مجتمعي الأعمال في البلدين.
وأضاف أن بلاده توفر العديد من الحوافز والتسهيلات للمستثمرين، بما في ذلك الإعفاءات الضريبية وتيسير إجراءات تأسيس الأعمال، الأمر الذي يعزز جاذبيتها للاستثمارات الأجنبية، لافتا إلى وجود فرص للتعاون في مجال تصدير عدد من المنتجات الهندوراسية ذات الجودة العالية إلى السوق القطري.
Doha, November 01 (QNA) - Qatar Chamber discussed ways to strengthen trade and economic relations between Qatar and Honduras and investment opportunities available in both countries, and explored areas of cooperation between their respective private sectors.
This came during a meeting held by First Vice Chairman of Qatar Chamber, Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Twar Al Kuwari, with President of the Cortes Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIC) in Honduras, Karim Qubain.
In this context, Al Kuwari welcomed closer economic and trade ties between the two countries, noting that Qatari investors are interested in exploring investment opportunities in Honduras.
He stressed the importance of signing a memorandum of understanding between the two chambers to enhance cooperation, facilitate communication between business communities, and encourage the exchange of trade delegations to explore potential business and investment opportunities.
In turn, Qubain expressed Honduras's interest in strengthening cooperation with Qatar, highlighting the country's promising opportunities in several sectors, particularly mining, agriculture, and tourism, as well as its natural resources and attractive tourist destinations.
He invited Qatar Chamber and Qatari businesspeople to visit Honduras and explore the available investment opportunities, stressing the importance of signing an MoU between the two chambers to establish a framework for cooperation and promote partnerships between companies in both countries.
Qubain also highlighted the incentives offered by Honduras to foreign investors, including tax exemptions and measures to facilitate business establishment, noting the potential for exporting high-quality Honduran products to the Qatari market. (QNA)
